22 June 2026 | Launch of the Business Breakthrough Barometer at LCAW26 – Social Media Toolkit

Thank you for supporting the launch of the Business Breakthrough Barometer, developed by WBCSD in partnership with the Marrakech Partnership, the Breakthrough Agenda, with the support of Bain & Company and the Climate High-Level Champions. This toolkit has been created for partners, contributors, and stakeholders to support the launch of the 2026 Business Breakthrough Barometer. It provides headline report findings, suggested copy and digital assets to enable you to promote across channels with ease.   The 2026 Business Breakthrough Barometer will be launched by WBCSD President & CEO, Peter Bakker, at the Climate Innovation Forum – the flagship event for London Climate Action Week. Peter’s keynote will take place at 11am BST, Monday 22 June.

About the Business Breakthrough Barometer

The Business Breakthrough Barometer offers a global pulse check for governments and leaders, tracking how businesses at the forefront of the transition are responding to climate-related risks, opportunities and market shifts across sectors and geographies. It tracks how corporate strategies, investments, and risk perceptions are evolving; and identifies the enabling conditions needed to unlock greater private-sector investment and accelerate implementation at a global level and for nine solutions across five sectors: energy, industry, transport, food systems, buildings. The Barometer draws on survey responses from more than 500 senior business leaders across 50 economies, on every continent; over 70 in-depth executive interviews; and sectoral business convenings spanning all regions of the world — collectively representing more than $2 trillion in combined revenue. The Barometer provides business-led insights to isupport the Global Climate Action Agenda, identifying opportunities and priorities to accelerate implementation.
